What do you construe is more influential, equipment for soldiers or training?
My opinion is training. Training is the most important entry a soldier must do. Even without the equipment, soldiers know that it does matter give or take a few equipment, its all about the weapon they use,their standard equipment and the commitment and honor to Country and the men on the your not here and right. They will be use all there training they they hold learn to survive there ordeal.

I believe equipment. You will need to depend on your equipment to save your vivacity. You will need to depend on your training as well, but that is to say something that you can do on your own. I train all the time military workout style, now if I be thrown into a battle field next to no equipment I would die, no matter how much training I had.
I have a sneaking suspicion that you get the jist of what I'm trying to say. Our soldiers do call for good training, but there equipment will come within a lot more handy.

It depends on what you expect by "equipment". I would rather be well trained than hold a top of the line bullet proof vest. But I would rather own no training and a gun than training and no gun.
I would agree that training is the more significant of the two. All the equipment in the world isn't going to help you if you don't know how to use it. There are also instances when your equipment may go wrong you and you will be left with lone your training. For example, if you are out on a patrol and you are using a GPS to keep track of where you and where on earth your base is and something happens to your GPS you have better have some good arrive navigational skills if you want to make it home. Afghanistan, Somalia and Vietnam all show what poorly trained and poorly equipped soldiers are practised of doing versus a highly trained and superiorly equipped soldier. A well trained soldier can use a second-rate piece of equipment effectively. A poorly trained soldier can use a technically advanced piece of equipment ineffectively. A motivated soldier can use any equipment to achieve the desired goal.
Gotta own both.
