I would contact the CEO of the company who makes the machines and promise them lots of publicity if they could see their method to donating a machine to you. Despite the economic downturn, several businesses have a fund for charitable purposes, and much of their donations are tax deductable, so supply it a go. What do you have to lose? Good luck.
i am assuming you are surrounded by the US - is it unreasonable to buy the machine needed for the drip? if not, I would approach local service companies (rotary, pageant of dimes), your church, local fire department...even local businesses. even though things are economically lousy right now, more people step up to serve a person with medical requirements. you can see if there is a space that will permit you to host a fund-raising public sale of goods, baked/preserves etc....good luck!
