Is it okay to put Lacrosse equipment contained by wash gadget?

My lacrosse equipment smells really bad because the smell stayed on it for really long time. I wanted to wipe it, I have tried soaking them with hose hose. It didn't really work. The smell grew back.

So I am wondering if it is okay to put lacrosse chest piece, gloves, elbow pad surrounded by the washing machine later hang it and dry em'?

Would it destroy the equipment or wash machine itself?

What is other way to verbs the equipment?

Thanks in advance
Answers:
I would suggest you mop up them by hand and try to put them in the sun outside to dry. The sun is a polite disinfectant, when they are dry sprinkle a little baby powder on them. This should work ably. I would not put sports Equipment in the washer or dryer.
why dont you hand clean up them?
i'd say the gloves and the elbow pads would be ok to put contained by, not sure about the chest piece. i just looked them up on google descriptions to see what they looked like. dont take my word for it though, i in recent times reccomend hand washing! some wash detergent, warm water, possibly soak them for a bit then scrub them yourself.
