Why must Hockey players buy adjectives their own equipment, unlike other sports where on earth most equipment is provided.?
Buying all your own equipment in hockey make the game too expensive for a lot of society to play. Other sports, which require a lot of equipment, are usually provided to players. Football players at all level are given most required equipment (except cleats) to use for the season and then return it at the end. Why isn't hockey this method. I understand having players buy skates, and sticks, but why isn't the rest provided.

First of all you shouldn't generalise.

BECAUSE EQUIPMENT IS JUST WAYYYYYY TOO EXPENSIVE for anyone to a moment ago get up and buy 20 pairs of elbow pads or shoulder pad for their teams. And most expenses for teams are put forth for buying rime time.
And hockey players are very picky about what type of equipment they wear, it's gotta discern just perfect to play surrounded by it.
There's a couple reason...
First of all, hockey players wear a lot of equipment, more than any other sport, so it would be enormously expensive to buy 16-20 pairs of everything.
Second of all, everyone is different and has different preferences. There are different brands near different fits, it all depends on what the player prefers. Some people might similar to how the easton gear fits while others prefer the bauer gear.
On high school team, a lot of the time players will get gloves, breezers (pants), and helmets. Just the stuff that shows, not shin pad or anything because they are covered by the socks so it doesnt really matter if they match or not.
because ppl in the US dont appreciate hockey like they should
