What equipment should i buy to start boxing?
i always wanted to start boxing but i never thopught in the region of it that much until this year
Answers:
sparring gloves(the heavier the better) mouthpiece, sweats, and good running shoes
you have to shift to a boxing gym too Source(s): im a boxer
as far as equiptment you entail 12 oz gloves for sparring and bag work, boxing shoes (sneakers are ok for beginners), shorts, t-shirt, jump rope and sped pack...definately join a gym and work with a trainer...the gym should own everything else.
If you're going to join a club, just buy some 12 oz. gloves for shoulder bag work, some hand wraps (i would recommend mexican style because they're stretchy and they won't slip off your paw while training) and a mouthpiece. For now, since you're just starting this will be okay, no necessitate to break the bank.
Depending on how soon you start sparring you'll need a cup, team leader gear, and maybe some 14 ounces for sparring, but some 12 ounces for sparring will be cool, they should let you borrow them though and adjectives of this other stuff for sparring, but if you want your own go ahead and buy them for when you go to tournaments.
