How do I verbs my corral hockey goalie equipment?

I wear lots of pads. It's like full body armour made of foam. Last year my equipment get really gross and smelled rancid by the end of the season. How should I clean them so that I'm more comfortable surrounded by my pads this year?
Answers:
Get it sanitised, takes out the odour and microbes growth Source(s): I do this with my ICE hockey gear at least twice a year
1st off after practice walk home and air out your gear. let the sun and crisscross do it's job and dry it. Make sure everything is opened up. anything that is to say washable, like inner pads, can be wash in the machine on serene or hosed off, then nouns dried. Anything that is ripe, can be bagged and frozen, as freezing kill bacteria that smells.
you're a goalie! the most heavily padded player on the paddock. when its 90 degrees and youre covered in armor, sweat is going to build up surrounded by your equipment. my advice is (as mentioned) let your stuff dry outside when you achieve home. Dont let it sit in your daypack until the next practice or game. Depending on what helmet you use, near are removable pads that NEED to be washed regularily. The fabric used in most field hockey applications is considered anti-bacterial but that does not aim that stuff wont get smelly. Anything around you face and mouth especially wants to be cleaned as often as possible. Keep your mouthguard is a case or a plastic backpack but make sure it gets cleaned somehow every time you use it because your saliva (as gross as it sounds) holds the most microbes and that goes back surrounded by your mouth every day. Take my advice and be safe and sound. ;) good luck
