How do you preserve your inground heated pool or spa equipment from freezing within the winter?

I have a gas heater and 3 pumps on a swimspa. All equipment sitting contained by a fenced enclosure. Can't keep swim jet pump and two different jacuzzi pumps running all the time.

My pool and spa has a freeze protect circuit. When the ambient warmth reaches 36 degrees the pump turns on and stays on until the temp again rises above 36. It's worked great within North Texas for 8 years, even when the temps got down into the low teens.
