Anyone know nearly pricing ancient photography equipment?
My dad has the entire sha-bang! He has never even touched it and in a minute wants to get rid of it. I told him I'd put it on craigslist or something but I don't know how much to put it up for. I know zilch about photography equipment and he doesn't know what that old stuff go for. I can't give details about it except that he bought most of it something like 30 years ago, some about 20, and never used any of it.
"> I agree with the ultimate guy, first place I would go is KEH.com to find prices and then get rid of lower on Craigslist. Film cameras and equipment are going for very very low prices in a minute. Unless he has something extremely rare I wouldnt hope to sort too much.
B+h Photo also has a used section to check prices. I tried to get rid of some lenses for Canon FD series film cameras last year and they be worth almost nothing. Source(s): me
check KEH.com and ebay, and price it somewhere in the middle. Or if you are surrounded by the United States, just see if KEH is willing to buy it. They attend camera fair throughout the U.S. and have a buying booth.
