Why does my have a word yak mobile splash not work beside digital equipment?

My telephone land strip has been tested and adjectives internal wiring sockets are tested ok but I can only use local dialling near digital equipment (message says number dialled not recognised). I can dial area codes ok using aged analog equipment.

You need to check your service provider for the type of switched services they offer surrounded by your area, sometimes, in rural areas pulse switches are used which will not adopt signals from a 'Touch-tone' phone. Check if you have a setting on the phone for pulse and tone.

A digital phone still sends and receives signals that are base on pulse code modulation, electrical. Source(s): Telecom engineer
You dont mention what digital equipment you are using. There is something called least possible cost routing which a phone system and some phones can use which basically routes calls depending on the numbers call. The reason l mention this is because it would typically insert a prefix such as 162 before a national code to route national call via a certain exchange for cheaper calls. Normally they dont route local call at all and if the line isnt provisioned you do carry the not recognised message. Look under LCR on the equipment. Hope it helps.
