Is the Rock Band for PS2 equipment (not the hobby disk itself) compatible for the Wii?

I just bought the whole Rock Band tools for the PS2 at Christmas and our system crapped out so I'm thinking about buying a Wii instead. But I don't want to have to buy another full Rock Band kit - are these compatible? It'd be awesome if all I have to do is buy a new game disc.

maybe but it would take abundantly of rewireing and money to do it i would recomend just buying new equipment because same happend to me
