How much is snorkel equipment to rent within cozumel... Fins, masquerade, snorkel, and an underwater flashlight?
going to cozumel and we need to know how much i should expect to pay per time for these items

I don't recommend snorkeling at night in Coz unless you are beside an organized local dive tour with Dive Master certified guides or above. It's a strong current area and is all right known for it's drift dives. You'll go a mile within an hour easily, if you're out on the reefs. You won't need a pallid for the reefs there during daylight.. Even the overhangs where the Nurse sharks are , are capably lit from the surface.
Cost of rental gear varies from a low of 2 USD to as much as 10USD at resorts. Pretty near adjectives the dive shops in San Miguel offer rental gear and any of the resorts or hotels that are dampen front will as well.. If you're staying at an all inclusive, probability are...the cost will be nothing and you can use that gear anywhere on the island as long as the loan period extends. We rented some for our daughters at Chankanaab National Park for about 5 or 6 dollars for mask fins and snorkel. However the characteristic of the gear was very cheap. We own our own and the advantages are: you are the only one using the gear, only your germs, the pall actually fits and does not leak deep-sea water in and your snorkel have a anti splash vent on the top. Some rental places only rinse them in marine water othere places use a bleach solution. That kills the germs but taste terrible. We've snorkeled all over the Caribbean but never needed a frothy.
