What piece of exercise equipment would you approaching to see more of contained by surrounded by your gym but don't?
I choice my gym had bellydance lessons similar to my old gym did. I know that's not really a "piece of equipment" but it's one hell of an ab workout and I really miss it!
I know this is going to sound weird because it's not a piece of equipment, but I would similar to to see an adults only pool. I really don't like any form of aerobic exercise bar walking and swimming.
Walking on a track or treadmill is soooooooo boring, so I only do it outside when the weather is nice. In the winter, I love to swim at the health club, but it seem that most parents think of the pool as a place to dump their kids when they're too old for daycare. More than partially the time I go to swim, there are kids playing at the shallow winding up of the pool, hanging on the ropes, splashing around, going from lane to lane. Most health clubs enjoy rules posted saying kids aren't to be left unattended if they're below a certain age (usually 16), but there's no life guard, or even staff contained by the pool area to enforce the rules, this happens seriously. It's so annoying. I want to take the kids up to where the machines are and narrate them to play on the stairmaster while their parents are trying to get their workout in.
A pool, and an indoor track. My gym is too small for either of those though.
Nicer windows? lol.
Decline benches. Why would one gym have 5 flat benches, 4 inclines, but just 1 decline? It's dumb.
weighted crunch machines...those things are hired gun for the abs i love em but never find them
Donkey calf machines
Luckily, my gym is awesome. We have like 5 decline, a lap pool for adults and it is for exercise only as okay as an indoor track.
It also has great windows. They adjectives have me working out in them! Just kid!
