What thoughtful of music equipment should I achieve?
I want to get into making/recording songs.. like singing/rapping and conceivably even making beats i guess? I'm really new to adjectives of it so if you can suggest and software or hardware it would be great! I am on a budget of around $500-600? So please tell me what are the basic equipment I might have need of like microphone,program,etc..

Tascam and a couple others have USB input/output devices & software bundles starting around $150.. Ive see them on Ebay for as little as $50. I have a Tascam US-122 that I take beside me to gigs.. it's not the greatest sounding, but it's good for the price & very durable, and I achieve decent board mixes out of it.
The most money you are going to spend is on your Microphones. You can easily blow your in one piece budget right there on just one. I'd recommend a far-reaching dynamic range condenser mic, a good stand and a pop eyeshade.. it would be the most universally useful. Musicians friend is the online version of guitar center.. they own specials and sales all the time.
Used keyboards are out nearby... find yourself one in your price range and after upgrade from there. Until you learn what you are doing, you're newly going to be experimenting with it all anyway. It's a long study curve, and even the pros are learning more about their art every daytime.
Good luck!
There are lots of great 4 or 8 track recorders out there...check out Tascam, they are one of the best. All you would inevitability is a mic to plug into it...you can record right to the device...a lot of them enjoy built in beats or ways to brand beats...
