How much more does your electric bill run up when u enjoy a fish reservoir running near adjectives the equipment? (60 gal.)?
not much, but you can offset the cost by getting an electric eel and selling the surplus power back to the power company. I hear this was a good model from Al gore.
They don't use very much extra vim. Unless you are doing water changes on a 200 gallon container every day or something. Or if you are like me and enjoy 13 tanks up and running, then you may see a difference within your electrical bill.
not much . i have a 100 gallon fish tank beside everythin. bills is 60 buck a month. with other stuff i use so yea.
my 90 with 2 pumps 2 power heads refugium night light and 216 watt tank lights, ive shown no noticable change,
and as the guy above said the ac and fridge are what bring in your power bill
Well I live in a house with my boyfriend, and we enjoy a 75 gallon saltwater, a 29 gallon community, a 120 gallon cichlid tank, and a 40 gallon gold fish cistern. with the two of use using a lot of electricity (because we work differing schedules so someone is always home), PLUS adjectives the tanks running, Our electric bill is only going on for 80-90$ a month. I've heard from people the average price is 60$ or so, but you also hold to figure our electricity will be a little highly developed because someone is always home and using appliances and such
i single mini fridge will use more energy than 2x 55 gallon fish tank...
don't even get me started on your AC unit...
