The url below has lots of information on dog agility, plus links to books and equipment that you can purchase. It also tells you where on earth to find information on agility clubs/classes in your area.

Agility can be a ton of fun. Enjoy! Source(s): http://www.the-puppy-dog-place.com/dog-a…
you can get flags at petco, play tunnels come as a food promotion a lot, an mature tractor tire from a farmer, the beams/teeters you could make yourself or hold a carpenter make. We have an agility course right by the house i.e. really nice, and I know some of the stuff I mentioned is not that great, but it is a start.
I strongly recommend taking some agility classes before getting your own equipment. That way, you know the proper and undisruptive way to have the dog approach the obstacle, and also, if either you or your dog don't like agility, you haven't sunk greatly of money into it.

Here is a link that will help you find a trainer or agility club:

These two sites are pretty worthy for finding plans to build equipment:

Also, check with agility clubs and trainers in your nouns. I know in my area, some of the agility clubs/trainers own equipment building workshops where you learn how to gross certain pieces of equipment (the price of the class includes all the materials as well). At the extremity of the workshop, you have a piece of agility equipment to take home.

If you are comfortable near carpentry, or have a friend or relative i.e., you can have them make some of the equipment as all right. Most good carpenters don't even need "plans" to kind the simple structures of agility equipment (A-frame, dog walk).

Depending on how big your dog is, you can improvise on things as well. For example, I bought a kid's play tunnel for a fraction of the price an "agility" tunnel would cost ( http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d… ). Keep your eyes peeled and be creative!

Here are some sites to buy equipment if there's pieces you don't want to engineer (note: equipment can be expensive):

How to make an agility course? I assume you be going to how to lay out the equipment? There are countless ways. In over 12 years of competing I have never run the same course twice! They are other different. But, there are guidelines in how a course is set up, depending on the plane of difficulty and the particular "elements and challenges" one wants to incorporate. One have to understand these to know how to set up the equipment.

Agility is not easy! It is VERY involved!

Cheap equipment? Well, equipment isn't cheap....even if you trade name it yourself!

I recommend finding an agility instructor near you, and find trials close by to go survey, to learn about agility. One can not train if they do not know what it is they are training!

There are rules...in that are right ways and wrong ways for the dogs to maneuver the equipment. Agility isn't just "flanging" a dog over equipment. There is a LOT of handling guidance the owner needs to do....and this includes oodles very subtle body moves.

Do searches on the internet.......www.cleanrun.com is a devout place to start....
There are books with details and plans for making your own equipment. Check www.dogwise.com.

Sometimes you can find inexpensive equipment on ebay.
