Can anyone provide an inspection checklist for the weld equipment ?

most company's have sanctuary check list its required by law, sounds resembling your a student,... ok so here goes and remember I do not have much education in this area... first start beside your ppe - personal protection equiptment, you know gloves ,arm guards, welding goggles or helmit, also ceck the visor in the helmit to manufacture sure they are clean and free of weld splatter, as from time to time they need to be replaced. subsequent change all tips nozzels and defussers to ensure they are verbs and free of weld splatter, check all air hoses gas lines and electric wires for holes leak and or damage. and that they are properly connected. if using tanks next check to see if they are full or need to be filled. that they are secured properly and soundly, that they are caped properly and that there are no leaks. subsequent make sure your grounding cable is in working writ and propely fastend. you must also check all wire spools and lead feeds, to check if they are mounted correctly and free of debris and is within working order all these things must be done since you start welding. Mind you I'm not a welder, but I do work with weld equiptment every day at work.. and there is a honest chance that I may have departed something out....hope this helps you
