Can I use my antediluvian internet equipment?
I live on my boss's property now and he has AT&T DSL. He have the same equipment that I have from when I have that internet at my old house. I was wondering if I have the same phone line within my house that he does in the office would I be capable of use my equipment on the phone line and have one and the same internet or would I have to have a different phone vein and equipment?

The only way that you would know how to use your equipment on his phone line is if his was unhooked because the dsl modems will not work if u hold more then one hooked up to the same string but if u say wanted to procure a router and a card for your comp that would be a lot cheaper then getting a seprate phone string
I importantly doubt you will be able to just hook up another dsl modem/router and use the internet. You'll hold to create a network that allows you to share the internet. What's to stop you from trying it? A wireless network would probably be what you involve to set up.
You need your own dedicated phone file for you to get your own dsl and use the equipment you have.
If you don't mind sharing internet, enjoy him hook up a router for you to connect to either with a cat5 framework cable or a wireless router and share the cost of internet with him if your that close to where his is hooked up.
