Question for farmers equipment?
Ok so I have seen that some farmers use some electrical device to turn the soil around like it goes inside the soil and turnts it over. What contraption is that called?

I live contained by Central Illinois, the corn belt. Not to many farmers here plow any more. They do what is called "No Till" husbandry. Instead of using a plow and turning over about 32 inches of soil, they use a disc, a sharp concave wheel that carve into the soil about 10 inches deep. It works a short time ago a good, svaes fuel, saves time, and what ever is put beneath will breakdown faster. But it definately is not a rototiller

A disc uses round often toothed blades to break up the soil. This could be used after the plow to prepare a smooth seed bed.
Which implement a cultivator uses depends alot on the soil type on his farm, and the crop he is going to grow.
