Heavy Equipment Operators. Please answer?

I would like to go to academy to become a heavy equipment operator. Upon reviewing the application it ask roughly mental illness. I am currently on medication for deppression and ADHD. I was wondering if this would disqualify me from finding a charge or even being able to grasp training. I have looked around the internet but have not found flawless info. If you have any info or know of a website it would be greatly appreciated.
