Equipment is a must if your going to bring back anywhere on a farm. I only enjoy about an acre and use a tiller. You need to find a used Tractor somewhere near a few attachments until you can afford a larger one if your going for big. My Grandmother had a old V6 Ford within the garage and it did the job for years and she had in the order of 16 acres but didn't use it all.
