my home is on a lake and there are a bunch of cattails close to our house on the pond we have pulled them up and they grew back twice as tacky,we burnt them down and again they grew back efficiently and also spread again.they are taking over our property,and not to mention water moccasins have a great home here.since they are in the lake as resourcefully as our land we don't want to use poison,and heavy equipment won't fit as this is close to the house,anything that will fit backbone there will get stuck speedily.

It may be illegal. That nouns would likely be consisdered a wetlands and, even on private property, it could be a legal nightmare.

I had the same interview a yr. ago and found at least in the the NE its immoral to remove them without jumping through treatise hoops. If you haven't looked into it you may want do that first.
