O.K.! there are several type's of tool's used in the turning of bowl's, as here are for "normal" wood-turning. A "Bowl Gouge" is used for heavy removal of wood, these come in several size's. Then at hand are "Bowl Scrapers" for finer finishing of the inner bowl surface. Last but not least there are "Bowl Sanders", adjectives would or should be available at any good turning supplies store, or tool shop. Also, go to a few of the on-line store's and own a look at what they carry, you don't have to buy but it will hand over you an idea as to what is around, what it looks like and a worthy idea of what you should be paying.
