Cutting Tapers on the Lathe?

I did my manufacturing technology in my university which requires us to produce an item from lathe and milling mechanism manually.
So based on my experience: If you wish to do taper, you call for to check the tools availability which come together with the machine. Some are supporting (need a lot of experience to use) while others are designed to meet like mad of requirement (it can specifies the angle of taper, depth of cut, shape of taper etc).
