How can i build a speed control for my wood turning lathe?

THE ORIGINAL SPEED CONTROL IS BROCKEN I WOULD LIKE TO BUILD ONE MY SELF I HAVE A MULTICO
Answers:
Order one from the place that you bought the lathe from. They still make them and if not, after get one from another lathe, that does the same entity.

I am assuming you have one of the "expensive" type a couple of grand, near the speed control that actually brings the motor speed down, instead of the belt changes...

I preference you well..
