Where can I hold a 13" tire shaved down within a tire lathe?
I am looking locally in WI and not having much luck finding a business that have equipment to do a tire that small. I may be willing to ship the tire to an out of state location.
Has anyone done this before next to a 13" tire. Any ideas?

Why not just buy the usual smaller spare tire intended for driving at a slower speed.
Why do you want to do that, just buy the applicable smaller size? Tire construction and sale is regulated by the applicable DOT regulations, probably no job shop would like to hold the risk. Source(s): Experiments and risk.
