How would I receive a wooden baseball bat if I don't enjoy a lathe? How long to craft it w/o the lathe?

I don't have $3,000 to spend on a good lathe!

Why don't you merely go buy a wooden bat for 60$?

The only track to make a wooden bat is to turn it on a lathe and if you don't have the money to budge buy a lathe, i suggest the cheaper choice of just buying a bat.

Here's a lathe for in the region of $800 including shipping and turning tools. Jet is a professional brand, so you may not know it. I think that Rockler also sells the turning blanks for the bat. I have dealt near this company for years and can tell you their customer service record is highly high.

By hand you could use something call a spoke shave which is a specialized plane, but it's a lot of work and requires a lot of skill.
