My walls are cracked and antiquated lathe and plaster, I enjoy wallpapered, in a minute I want to paint, can I do it?

usually i wouldnt recomend painting over wall newspaper. it wont be smooth. wallpapering over cracks wont solve the problem and its not that hard to tackle. basicly u cant newly fill the cracks. that wont work. u have to stir to any store like home depot, lowes or ace. and they will help you find what u call for. they sell patch kits and that will give a hand, its very easy too. after ur on ur way to beautiful walls done right! hope this help! have a nice holiday! I painted over my wallpaper. I first used original Kilz, the grease based primer (it stinks, so do it on a day you can amenable a window). After that dried thoroughly I painted with wall paint. It works, but I can't say I approaching the look too much. It will do until I figure out what I really want to do.
Sure you can! You can slap a coat or two of paint on anything. Will it look good? That is the more relevant question. The severity of the cracks, and point of the paper will have a hulking part in the equation. When within doubt, repair the area first.
Yes you can paint over the wall paper but the wet paint will receive the wall paper come loose off of the walls when the paint dries the wall daily will re adhere to the walls. Make sure paint is completely dry before adding up 2 coat.
How about those paintable wallpapers available at home depot here is a link to some examlpes. I'm putting the "linen" within my bathroom I got it at Home Depot for 11 or 12 dollars for the roll. Its a different brand than whats in this contact.

Edit: Just throwing this out near Theres this stuff called paint and tex that you mix in beside your paint to give texture that I considered.
