Need a estimation for a full size lathe rack for a truck?

Hello my grandfather recently passed away and willed me his full size gmc pick up. im purely trying to see how much i can get for the rack thats currently on it. i looked up new ones that get for close to 800 bucks and im possibly willing to let it walk for 400-500. i was just curios is that be a good price range thank you.
