What is the required spindle to gearbox ratio for a clausing 5914 gearbox on a homemade lathe using belts?

Lathe is homemade but gearbox and lead screw are from an old clausing 5914 model. gearbox have 9 slots with a knob labeled A B C. lead screw is 8 tpi. Just want to install on homemade lathe for threading according to chart but have need of the spindle to gb ratio. belt (timing) will be used. Thanks in advance.
"> Adjust the GB for a selective # of tpi. Turn the gearbox input 1 revolution and measure how far the lead screw advance the half-nut.

Ex: GB set for 10 tpi. One revolution → .20" movement. S/G = 10*.20 = 2:1 speed ratio.
You can assume the ratio was an even one, like 1:1, 2:1 etc.
The A,B and C are ranges for respectively of the 8 ratios.
I assume the original chart is on the box?
If so, select 8 TPI, and see which other pitches are dotted for the same slot. If they are marked, select the A,B or C position specifically indicated for 8 TPI.
Now, mark the leadscrew so you know where it is. Mark the input shaft. Then rotate the input shaft, counting the complete turns, until the leadscrew have completed 1 complete turn.
If the input goes 1 turn for output 1 turn, the gear ratio is 1:1. If it goes 2 turns, it's 2:1 slimming down. And so on!
It would be handy if you also have the original make over gears for the Clausing. Among them is probably a 63 or 127 tooth, for cutting Metric threads.
