How can produce a cylindrical cam next to a Lathe?

next to a four jaw chuck, you can offset the jaws a bit and capture a simple cam...it is labor intensive, and will take at least a couple of dial indicators to keep hold of the thing squared up.....rough it down as best You can before You ckuck it up, and don't help yourself to it out till You are DONE...Be careful, it's one of those tool breakin' jobs ...PS this would not be something You could use surrounded by an engine or that sort of thing-KJH
