What is the best course to go workshop equipment and machinery?

I've got to dispose of some large electric motors, controllers and workshop machinery but I don't want to of late give them away. eBay doesn't seem close to the best place to advertise heavy, specialist equipment. What do you meditate?

The problem you are going to have is the assignment of these things as they are very heavy.
My suggestion would be to advertise in your local tabloid and put up some adverts in you local stores.
You probably will not go and get the best price for them but at least interested buyers will not be put off by the distance to pick them up.

Try looking in to busineses that would use your equipment see if they would make you an set aside. If their is alot think about an auction. Advertise surrounded by local papers (Here in Ireland Buy& Sell its free to place an add).Best of luck
