Auditory hallucination while machinery is running?

Some years ago, while I was using a prescription cold medicine, I be hearing drums, bugles, and bagpipes when the refrigerator clicked on or the air conditioner be running.
The music stopped when the machinery stopped.
There is a technical term for auditory hallucination which occur in the presence of "white noise". Does anybody know the residence? I found it in a medical dictionary years ago, so I know that it exists.

I dont know but when I was younger I tried huffing gas and after doing so I could hear a leash playing in my head beside trumpets and bugles.
(No bagpipes though)

Same sort of thing happen to me when I was taking dimetapp.
I know that there is a occupancy "psychoacoustic noise".... but I think that it refers to the actual noise to be exact conducive to auditory hallucination. The only article i could find that might be similar to what you're talking about is MES or "Musical Ear Syndrome".
