Why does childrens cough syrup speak "Do not drive or use strapping machinery?"?
How many 5 year old kids out at hand are driving to their construction jobs, operating bull-dozers?

Hahahahahahahaha. ROTFLOL! I didn't even know that be on the children's cough syrup. Wow. You never know, there may be some independent 5 year olds out there. lol. :-D
Six. But because the cough medicine companies don't know which six children it is, they hold to put the warning on every stinking bottle.
'Cause it really hurts when they drive that Tonka over their Mom's bare foot contained by the kitchen on the linoleum floor!
For liability purposes. If some adult go to the medicine cabinet and takes the with the sole purpose cough syrup and then goes and operate heavy equipment and that warning be not on there the company would be in a world of reflective doo doo.

Once upon a time a man picked up his running lawn mower to trim his bushes - ill-fatedly it trimmed his fingers. He won the law suit because the lawn mower did not enjoy instructions not to do that. So in the knee shudder reaction more warnings acquire added. There is also a chance that kids may be out there on quads, Barbie electric cars or what ever. So they are only covering their bases.
That's for when they export it to countries that have child labor.
You know, those Tonka trucks can be pretty dangerous!! And I hate it when my 2-year-old take my car!! Seriously, it's a legal article - the manufacturers are covering their rear ends from canon suits, just in suitcase someone who is older takes the pills. Not all consumers are as intelligent as you might be.
haven't you ever gone grocery shopping with your kids and are hopped up on pills or booze and had to win them to drive you home..why should a little cough syrup get within your way..it's not like they even hold a licence to become suspended...its the smart thing to do...
