I want to introduction some machinery from a foreign country. How do I find out if the trader is legal?
I have never dealt internationally earlier and am a little leery about doing so. The merchant looks legitimate but how can I be sure? Is there a route to check if there were problems near their machines, quality issues, etc?

Contact their nearest Embassy they will have a Trade Commissioner you can discuss it next to.
Contact your own Government somewhere you will have a Trade Department. Both these can do checks on your behalf for free.
QUALITY 1: Ask for some references where on earth they have sold their Machines etc, then check up on them.
QUALITY 2: If you are dealing next to Asia most don't know what quality is and will openly pretend to you, especially China.

- Speak to the seller on the phone and ask them some question. If they are reasonably helpful and clued-up then this might provide you with some reassurance.
- Search on Google for the company label, or the company name + "problems", "scam", etc, to see if anyone has reported any problems. If anyone have been ripped off surrounded by a big way, there is a polite chance their story will be posted somewhere on the internet.
- There are specialist internet forums / message boards for all sorts of industries and professions on the internet. Google for them and you may be capable of find some specialists who are qualified to give you specific advice or who know almost the company in question.
- Make a small instruct first and see if it works out.
