What are the name of machinery of flimsy bulb production?
Answers:
I took a tour of the Dow Corning facility in Danville, Kentucky a few years ago and they were using some frail Bodine machines.
An interesting note, they decided that it cost too much to settle an oiler to lubricate the plant's machinery so they didn't lube anything! They just run the equipment until the bearings are so worn that they won't state tolerance in production and then distribute their maintenance team within to replace all the bearings.
I thought it sounded fairly foolish but they claim their studies show cost savings!
