Why metals are from time to time found as pure forms contained by temperament?

Only a few metals, such as gold and copper, are found in moral fibre in their pure form. Most others exists in quality only as ores, which are metal - containing compounds. Why are metals rarely found as pure forms surrounded by nature?

Please help me, I can't find this answer anywhere ><
"> Entropy.
This is because the chemical punch favors those metals being reacted near other things, like oxygen, sulfur, carbon, etc. The business of extracting metals from ore (the minerals that are dug out of the ground) is about creating chemical reaction that reverse the reactions the metals would like to generate. For example, the iron ore that is mined to produce steel is mostly Fe-oxide. When steel is exposed to the weather, it turns back into Fe oxide (rust). It is matching reason the oxygen in our nouns is O2 and not O, because the chemical energy of O2 molecules is lower than the chemical energy of two single O atoms. Yes it as to do beside entropy but entropy is only part of the drive equation.
