Why is release metal the most popular form of metal immediately?

what happened to cool metal like pantera or anthrax i know thats adjectives thrash metal but still im tired of hearing kfgmpdfkgdpgdpkngkmbfnjfnhnfkhgjkhgfjfko… thats a overstament but thats what its like to me

At first I detested death metal but once I listened to it I get used to it and now I am in love next to it!! I know at first you have no idea what they are cliché but if you read the lyrics you can make out what they are saying. If you embezzle the time to read the lyrics and listen the lyrics actually do have implication! Just because they scream doesn't mean it mindless angry, emo refuse!

Plus the guitar riffs are fantastic! I love something I can jump around too and bang my boss! lol

I guess it is a thing of opinion! To some it sounds horrible (like you do) and some it sounds awesome (like me). lol
I suggest its just because Death Metal is like the most extreme form of Metal. Kids other want to do the rebellious thing and very soon we are are in an age where the parents grew up listen to Metallica and Megadeth, and who wants to be the kid that listens to his parents music. Also the talent pool lately isn't there anymore. Back in the afternoon you could pick up a CD but Metallica, Queensryche, Megadeth, Anthrax, Pantera and every song on the CD be solid. Now you buy something by Korn or Disturbed and you get maybe partially the songs are worth listening to a second time.

I do like Some of the newer cloying stuff like Slipknot and Mudvayne, but I dare you to compare any of the newer death CDs to Anthrax "Among the Living, Pantera's "Vulgar Display of Power", or Megadeth's "Peace Sells But Who's Buying".
because no one wants to hear around ditching school, smokeing cigs, and there girlfriends breaking up next to them

I totally agree. Today people are misled, thinking that 'harder faster is better'...I requirement melody in my music, not the cookie monster singing vocals...Anyone can kind noise....Not enough society ever go back and listen to music that matter...
not all metal is death metal - listen to Dragonforce. they are keeping it behind the times school.
my guess it because ,maybe these days there are more people who are awareness down and out that they can actually relate to it........i dont know im just intermittently suggesting
