Are the videogames god of war2 and metal gear 4 surrounded by book form?

i ask because i paged thru god of war 2 strategy guide when it come out and the story looked great. but im terrible at videogames and cant beat them i dont own hours to play games anyway. but i love books

You can go to places close to youtube though and watch cutscenes from the games to tell you the story, be warn though mg4 is about 10 hours of cut scenes and story hehe.
