What metals form alloys?

Can anybody give me some kind of roll with the word form of the metals?
Answers:
Depends what you want to alloy. You can alloy Iron w/ carbon, chromium, nickel to form different kinds of steel. Copper become brass or bronze. Aluminum becomes dural. Heavy metals (gold, silver, lead) most often stay themselves.
pewter,brass,duralumin,copper metal,.
There are many metals that form alloys. An alloy is any combination of a metal and another thing. Some occur naturall y(like electrum) while others are artificially created (like steel).

Bronze- Copper and Tin
Electrum- Gold and Silver
Brass- Copper and Zinc
Sterling Silver- Silver and Copper
Steel- Iron and Carbon (heat-infused)
Amalgam- Mercury and any other metal(there are various types of amalgam)
Magnox- Magnesium and Aluminum
Duralumin- Aluminum, Manganese, Copper and Magnesium
Silumin- Aluminum and Silicon
Stainless Steel- Steel (Iron and Carbon), Chromium, and Nickel
Cupronickel- Copper, Nickel, and Iron or Manganese
Billon- Copper and Silver
Pewter- Copper, Tin, and Lead
Solder- Lead and Antimony

The detail goes on and on.
an alloy is usually a mixture of two or more metals, but I assume the definition can be expanded to include metals and nonmetals (steel will have carbon disolved in iron). The mixture usually have properties that each alone does not. These are many properties including strength, decrease melting point, better corrosion resistance, decreased thermal conductivity ...

Wikipedia have has a link a the bottom to "List of Alloys" which contains an extensive document of many alloys. Source(s): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alloy
An two materials (at least one mortal a metal) melted together is an alloy.
Some examples:
Brass - copper and zinc
Steel - iron and carbon
Bronze - copper and tin or aluminum
Sterling silver - silver and copper

There are hundreds of alloys - no way to catalogue them all here (try wikipedia under 'list of alloys').
at tiniest two metals form an alloy
