What is the metal which react beside oxygen to form magnesium oxide?

science
Answers:
ooo...agree to me guess would that be magnesium by any chance?
That would be the metal Mag, which turns into its esium form when it comes into contact with oxygen and there is plenty heat around.

By the way, you do not want to see this transpire. It is dangerous. Avert your eyes unless you are using a UV shield.

Also DO NOT TOUCH the Mag whilst this is happening. It could put you rotten Chemistry for a few weeks at least.

Magnesium + oxygen:magnesium oxide
