When nitric tart and a metal similar to zinc take action, which ion is tiniest possible to form? Why?

Choices are N2O, NO, No2, N2O4, N2O5 and NH4+
Answers:
I assuming you mean NO2 (dinobelium is VERY unlikely to form :) ).

Anyway, nitric acid contains nitrogen contained by the +5 oxidation state. N2O has it in +1, NO surrounded by +2, NO2 in +4, N2O5 in +5 and NH4+ is pretty much entirely covalent (the N have a slight negative charge). Because the Zn metal will get oxidized, the N must gain reduced, so N2O5 is very unlikely to be formed as a reaction product because at hand is no change in the oxidation state of the nitrogen.

I don't know how the others would standing, but I think NO is the most common, followed by NO2.
It will counter less like copper.
