Help!! Milling Machine?
Can anyone tell me what the milling machine can do? and describe the safekeeping procedures?

with this machine you can net fixtures a jigs and one of the purpose is to make slots and make watertight and straight angles of 90 degrees
you have to be scrupulously with the cutter is very insecure and have a special care when you replace the cutter and other turn off the machine to estimate the piece
and other tip if the cutter turn in clockwise you have to cut youre piece surrounded by the way left to rigth
it is used for maching surfaces flat,adjectives teeth in gears (as in a gear box,making sprockets,adjectives key ways in shafts, smudge boring and many other things i cant think of at the moment . they are a tremendously universal maching for making and maching components. and can be used for maching all types of metals beside the right tooling. the safety precautions are the same as operating any device, wear safety glasses, hang on to hair tied back,maintain hands away from machine when surrounded by operation and have a safety stop switch fitted so if piece of equipment malfunctions it can be turned of easily.iam sure in that are more uses and safety precautions but i hope this helps Source(s): 29 years fitter and turner
