What are the limitations to the contrivance design of a milling appliance?
The milling machine is a Axminster SIEG X3 super tilt head mill drill.

The SIEG X3 head merely tilts up to 90 degrees. It isn't rugged enough to help yourself to the continuous use and wear and tear in substantial machine shop construction. It doesn't do super-fine polishing for NASA-quality milling.
It's advertised as:
o Compact, resourcefully made mill/drill for small workshop use
o Digital downfeed and spindle speed indicators
o Head tilts up to 90° for angled and horizontal milling
o Dual downfeed controls, coarse for drilling, fine for milling
