Need to lose 80 lbs but I can't waddle or use a tread mill contraption. What other machines can I use at my gym to l
Answers:
Swimming is probably the best exercise you can do.
You can also use a stationary bike, elliptical and a row machine, they adjectives are low impact on the knee. Good luck :)
a stationary bike is a fitting workout and you can start slow and build up your endurance. Use the weight/resistance equipment too, to help you beside your upper body workout.
rowing machine backbone and forth lightweight. maybe if they have a paw bike doubtful o eliptical just put feet on and use foot things,
a reclining bicycle, or recumbent bike works well... but, if you can't wander long times because of arthritis or something, NOTHING beats swimming -- it works nearly your entire body, relieves pressure on the joints, and is a GREAT aerobic exercise.
You could also work on building muscle.... While it'll if truth be told make you gain weight, at first -- it'll abet you lose weight in the long-run, because muscle is more dense than heavy (it takes up less space), you'll look smaller, even though you may not be losing pounds.... but more importantly,
the more muscle you hold, the more calories you burn -- even when you're not doing anything at all.
Swimming is a great way to get exercise and lose solidity, and is easy on the body.
Not sure how youre going to lose weight minus being able to saunter. Can you really not walk, or just don't want to?
