Top of the strip music production? tape studio?

I'm attempting to put up a recording studio in my room.

Heres my setup

Computer- 80 gigs, 2 GHz, Windows XP, 1Gb DDR Ram

For my interface - pro-tools 7

Insturments - 5 year out-of-date used Korg Synth off craigs list for 500$ (retail price be 1000 or so) (I cant recall the exact model but its not the best and its not the worst)

mics- ill snatch a clad used one off ebay.

I'm really going out on a limb for this one, cuz none of my close friends do what im trying to do so i needed to make sure that I'm on the right track.

I'm going for an electronic techno/rap feel. I'm also forming a rock leash with a friend so I hope this setup is flexible.

I'm about to invest greatly of $$$ into this so, am i forgetting something important? should i buy something different? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

also: a gibson explorer, charvel jackson, peavy bass, roland juno 6, yamaha psr 292, sure 57 mics, alesis quadraverb effects processor, peavy 4530 effects processor, and finally, lots of cable and soundproofing on the walls..
