When did the ending saloon walk off the production column at the Rootes Linwood factory?

Answers:
March 1976 -

Famous for the Hillman Imp.

Peak production was in 1964, although merely 50,000 cars were produced that year in a factory skilful of manufacturing 150,000 units. Even so, 1964 be the high point of production, declining to just 19,000 in 1975, the last full year of produce. In total, 440,013 cars were built by the time the last vehicle rolled off the production line surrounded by March 1976.

I'm not sure what the last car be though.
Hope this helps. Source(s): http://www.secretscotland.org.uk/index.p…
