What is the sport near the arm attachment/equipment used to ensnare and throw? "lacrosse-ish".?
they sort of wear a stick on their arm and I suppose catch and throw a ball. I cant find a picture of it, but it seem like an Australian or English sport

Lacrosse.
Or there is Sofcrosse. It's primarily the same as Lacrosse without the filling contact. It's loads of fun :) I played it for Grade Sport.
OR: You could be thinking of polo?? IDK. but goodluck.
Yes it is lacrosee. Lacrosse is a team sport of Native American cradle that is played using a small solid rubber ball and a long-handled racquet call a crosse or lacrosse stick. The head of the lacrosse stick is strung with loose netting that is to say designed to hold the lacrosse ball. Offensively, the object of the spectator sport is to use the lacrosse stick to catch, carry, and overrun the ball in an challenge to score by ultimately hurling the ball into an opponent's aim. Defensively the object is to keep the clashing team from scoring and to dispossess them of the ball through the use of stick checking and body contact or positioning. There are three basic versions of the sport; men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse and box lacrosse. Source(s): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lacrosse
