Can you use jb weld on cooking equipment?

like on a coffee maker where on earth the epoxy contacts the coffee? i want to epoxy a percolator for camping but i dont wanna poison myself..... or any other suggestions for a route to fix the leaks as the metal is to thin to weld...

it should say on the tube wether or not it would be dangerous. it shouldnt hurt you, but if you cant find it on the tube, i would suggest replacing the broken cog
I actually heard, one time, on a commercial for JB Weld, that a dentist have actually filled several cavity in his own mouth, with JB. I consider, if I recall, that he had also made and used a bridge beside a couple of teeth formed entirely of JB as well. If it didn't hurt him I don't think it will do any spoil on a pot.
According to their pattern site JB Weld is non toxic, not a carcinogen, microwave safe and not water soluble. It should work and be nontoxic.
DON'T use jb weld on any cookware! It's a risk.
