Pricing used equipment for trucking co.?

Looking at purchasing a few used trucks for my trucking company, whats the best way to determine a used trucks value. Ex should i numeral a full priced truck and divide it by its usable life expectancy?

The appeal of a truck, or anything else, is what someone is willing to pay for it. For example, you may enjoy bought a brand new truck for $130,000, and never driven it. Two months later you prefer to sell it. You think it should be worth at least possible $125,000. However, the most anyone is willing to pay is $100,000 - that would be the current importance of the truck. This is known as "fair bazaar value".

The best way to find the current value of a truck is to see what a similar one to what you enjoy in mind is selling for. Some good places to do that are "Truck Paper", "Commercial Truck Trader", "TNT", and eBay.

By looking at these sources, not singular will you be able to determine the value, but you might even find a suitable bargain!
