I need to know if anyone is aware of case ruling or statute that deals with the flair of a nonprofit organization to lease equipment from a profitable entity to use for a fundraiser event. State of Wisconsin or Federal stats cited would be phenomenal

The rationale of the NPO person you are working near doesn't make sense. If he is the one telling you it is against the imperative and trying to get out of your contract, why not make him present you next to proof of his statement?
